Hello, my name is Richard Pert and I am an International Chess Master and current Essex Chess Champion who provides chess coaching services to children and adults in Essex & central London. Not only do I greatly enjoy playing the game but I take real pride in the coaching which I provide. I live with my wonderful wife and 2 children in Billericay in Essex, and the whole family is now interested in chess, following in my footsteps. I was thrilled to see Nina (my daughter) achieve the title of British U8 & British U9 girls chess champion in Bournemouth 2016 and would like to teach others to see them progress too.
I really enjoy looking at chess and always prepare my lessons in advance. I aim to make the lesson both enjoyable and very productive.
