What has Rezin seen?!

The Summer Holiday Chess Camp was a 2-day event which took place on 19th and 20th of August 2019. The event was just like a Train and Play day.

We started at 9:30 in the morning and looked at some openings and middle games to get us ready for the chess that would be played later in the day. After that, we were split into 2 teams and played a team chess game. Each game was 25 minutes plus 5 seconds per move.

There were two games each day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The coaches added up the scores to see who the winning team was. Everything at the camp was fair for everyone. Then, after the first game, there was a break in which we went outside to the playground equipment and football. Afterwards, when we came back in, we looked at the most interesting games that had been played before the break, from each team on 2 different boards. Next we had lunch and, after that, we played the second game and added up the scores.

Then, we played some other types of chess, including caterpillar chess and blitz. Each game was 6 minutes plus 3 seconds per move.
